Massage has always been a passion of mine since helping my mum with her back problems when I was young.

Choosing a career that meant I was going to spend my time helping and supporting people was very important to me. This lead me to becoming an RMT. I graduated from the 3000 hour massage therapy program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy here in Victoria, BC.

I have practised in a multi-disciplinary clinic in the area for several years. This has given me exposure to a whole range of common and uncommon complaints. I enjoy working with clients to help uncover the root causes of their pain or injury. Then the ongoing process of helping to alleviate the issues by developing programs of exercise and doing ongoing work with the clients. I feel preventative work is very important to help avert further problems.

I like to use a variety of techniques to achieve my patient goals, these include trigger point therapy, myofascial release, passive and active stretching, joint mobilizations, cupping and craniosacral therapy to name a few. Taking the time to enhance my skills and learn new ones through continuing education is something I consider to be very important.

When not massaging I like to spend a lot of time hiking and enjoying the beautiful West Coast. I also love to travel and explore new places. I am also privileged to work for the charity Another Brick in Nepal with whom I am helping to raise funds to rebuild schools in Nepal after the earthquake of 2015.
